HSI Foundation & Membership

The HSI Foundation is aligned to enhance both global competitiveness of U.S. businesses and individual quality of life. Our initiatives are dedicated to U.S. standardization in the field of healthcare organization management.

We are a registered Texas non-profit with an application pending before Internal Revenue Service for 501(c)(3) status. This includes identifying opportunities to create American National Standards and sourcing subject matters experts who work collaboratively to establish best in class protocols that serve and protect patients and consumers.

We steward and safeguard the integrity of our progress. We celebrate voluntary consensus standards and conformity assessment systems. We promote public awareness of the importance and need for national standards.

The HSI Foundation works for the net benefit of the domestic community with consideration for international alignment, while upholding the key principles of standardization:  consensus, transparency, openness, impartiality, effectiveness, relevance and coherence.
